Building Automation

Measurement and control components in building automation can significantly contribute to reducing the energy use of building service equipment and have a major influence on the energy efficiency of buildings.

WSPLab supports the endeavours of the European Building Automation Controls Association (eu.bac) to have building automation components tested, evaluated and certified by independent and neutral institutions with regard to energy aspects.

Currently WSPLab's testing programme includes the following systems:

• Electronic individual zone controllers according to EN 15500
  (incl. electronic radiator thermostats)

WSPLab also carries out tests of standardised building automation data communication protocols. Currently WSPLab's testing programme includes the following systems:

• MP bus
  (Belimo master-slave bus)
