Accreditation and Approvals
Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS - German Accreditation Body)
WSPLab has been accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
The accreditation plays a decisive role in ensuring the comparability of conformity assessments and in creating confidence in the quality and safety of our services. Confidence in certificates, inspections, tests or calibrations depends on the competence of the person providing the assessment service. Our accreditation as a conformity assessment body is indispensable for us in order to transparently prove the quality of our work.
Within the framework of the accreditation procedure, we have proven that we perform our activities competently, in compliance with legal and normative requirements and at an internationally comparable level. The German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) assesses and monitors our management system and the competence of our staff.
Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt)
WSPLab has been approved by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt) as a notified body (identification number 1428) for the following tests of construction products within the framework of Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products (Construction Products Regulation):
- radiators and convectors (EN 442-1)
- ceiling mounted radiant panels (EN 14037-1)
CEN KEYMARK Certification Programme "Thermostatic Radiator Valves"
WSPLab has been approved as a testing laboratory for the CEN KEYMARK certification programme "Thermostatic Radiator Valves". CEN KEYMARK is a standard conformity mark of the European standardisation organisations CEN and CENELEC and confirms the conformity of products and services with European standards through product testing and monitoring of production control.
The CEN KEYMARK certification for thermostatic radiator valves (TRV) can be granted for products according to the European standard EN 215.
Recognition as Testing Laboratory by EUROVENT CERTITA CERTIFICATION
The Eurovent certification programmes certify performance data of ventilation and refrigeration products according to European and international standards. WSPLab has been approved as a testing laboratory for active and passive chilled beams according to EN 15116 and EN 14518.
Recognition as Testing Laboratory by DIN CERTCO
DIN CERTCO as a certification company of the TÜV Rheinland Group and the DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. (German Institute for Standardisation) offers certification programmes for the conformity of a product with the requirements laid down in DIN, DIN EN or DIN EN ISO standards. The DIN-Geprüft mark is awarded. WSPLab has been approved by DIN CERTCO as a testing laboratory for the certification programmes of the following products:
- radiators and convectors
- water based surface embedded heating and cooling systems
- radiant ceiling panels
- chilled ceilings
- thermostatic radiator valves
- heat cost allocators
Recognition as Testing Laboratory by eu.bac
The European Building Automation Controls Association eu.bac has established a product certification programme for individual zone controllers according to EN 15500 and awards the eu.bac Cert mark for this purpose. It has entrusted the implementation of the certification programme to independent and accredited partners. WSPLab has been approved by eu.bac as a testing laboratory for this certification programme.
Recognition as a Testing Laboratory by RADMAC
In 1994, the European group RADMAC was founded with the aim of harmonizing the existing voluntary quality marks of radiators in Europe. In view of the mutual recognition of test reports between AENOR, EUROVENT CERTITA CERTIFICATION, DIN CERTCO and WSPCert, WSPLab is approved as a testing laboratory for testing radiators, convectors and fan assisted radiators as well as underfloor convectors according to EN 442 and EN 16430 respectively. Owners of these voluntary certification marks such as N-mark, NF-mark, DIN tested and RAL quality marks are AENOR, AFNOR, DIN CERTCO and RAL-Gütegemeinschaft Heizkörper aus Stahl e.V..
